M. Müller & Sohn Magazine 09-10.2025
Professional Magazine for Fashion and Pattern Making //Sportswear for Plus Sizs // Zirbenfux // Corset Back Panel // Dominik Häusler //Rainwear // Pattern: Bomber JacketsDeutsch
The magazine specialized in fashion and pattern making is published six times a year as a turnaround edition with topics on women’s and men’s fashion. The magazine is available for download in English. Each issue of M. Müller & Sohn magazine contains an enclosed sewing pattern.
On the women´s designer look pages we focus on transition coats – from ultra-light windbreakers to voluminous silhouettes and modern trench variations. They combine summer lightness with autumn accents and highlight the versatility of the coat.
In the portrait we introduce Natalie Schmidt and her label Zirbenfux, which interprets traditional costume fashion in a purist, urban, and sustainable way. In Briefly Introduced, we feature Fibe, a textile fiber made from potato residues with a significantly better environmental footprint than cotton or linen.
The pattern making section presents sportswear for plus sizes: from jackets and leggings to shirts and a sports skirt with shorts – all models combine comfort, freedom of movement, and modern design. In processing, we highlight the corset back panel – a small detail with a big impact. The issue is complemented by a business directory with current contacts.
The men’s section begins on the designer look pages with Avantgarde-Blazers, reinterpreting the classic: from bold shoulders to sporty details and reduced, clean shapes.
In the portrait, master tailor Dominik Häusler gives insights into his studio, where he combines traditional craftsmanship with fresh spirit – and promotes the men’s skirt as a fashion statement.
The pattern making section is dedicated to functional rainwear: coat, jacket, and trousers that combine protection, freedom of movement, and design. The editor’s pick presents the best tailoring tools. In knowledge, we take a look at the cultural history of the men’s skirt, and in the Technical College section at the 2026 seminar program. Editor’s Tips on dates, books, and TV complete the issue.
The enclosed pattern sheet contains bomber jackets in sizes 44–58.
