The magazine specialized in fashion and pattern making is published six times a year as a turnaround edition with topics on women’s and men’s fashion. The magazine is available for download in English. Each issue of M. Müller & Sohn magazine contains an enclosed sewing pattern.
On the women’s designer look pages, all eyes are on the jumpsuit. Whether short or long, fitted or loose – this all-in-one garment is full of variety and currently enjoying great popularity on international runways. In our technical college section, we look back on our OPEN DAY: we review the event and share the voices of visitors and exhibitors. We also present an exciting textile innovation: Brewed Protein™, a biotechnologically developed material from Japan that may soon play a significant role in the textile industry.
In the women’s pattern section, we focus on the timeless bodycon dress and present four variations that highlight the wearers’ bodies with intention and finesse. Under Industry & Craft, we explore a new coaching format by the German Bespoke Tailors Association, designed to preserve traditional know-how and promote professional excellence.
The men’s designer look spreads exude vacation vibes with a focus on the season’s best summer shorts. Our portrait feature takes us to none other than Huntsman on Savile Row – and how the brand successfully unites bespoke and ready-to-wear under one roof. A feature on the M. Müller & Sohn archives follows, including a unique opportunity to purchase select treasures. In men’s pattern making, we spotlight traditional garments from the early 19th century: jackets, vests, trousers, and shirts, each shown with its characteristic details. Our Pitti Immagine Uomo 108 report from Florence analyzes the major trends in contemporary menswear and the growing fusion of sportswear, streetwear, and tailoring.
Practical tips for tools, dates, and TV picks round off the issue.
The enclosed pattern sheet includes biker jackets in sizes 36–50.
