The author Irina Sycheva, who has been working as a pattern technician and lecturer for over twenty years, has continuously developed the draping technique and enriched it with her own methods and ideas. With great dedication, she has introduced this method at universities in Russia and China as well as in seminars at home and abroad, and since 2011 has been training professionals, students, and educators in this technique at her studio in Moscow.
