The magazine specialized in fashion and pattern making is published ten times a year as a turnaround edition with topics on women’s and men’s fashion. The magazine is available for download in English. Each issue of M. Müller & Sohn magazine contains an enclosed sewing pattern.

On the women’s fashion pages, corsages and bodices get to continue their appearance in this issue, we show you how to find your way through the jungle of different stays and spiral springs. In this issue’s Designer look we shed light on how lingerie becomes fashionable on the runway. In the pattern section we look at classic fit mistakes caused by certain body shapes and postures. We have also developed two cape models that will keep you stylishly warm. In the interview with Anna Lindström, who has developed a complete collection from second-hand materials together with the Swedish brand Gina Tricot, we find out how mass-produced upcycling of fashion that has been declared dead is possible.

On the menswear pages, we turn our attention to the waistcoat or vest in this issue. In our interview, waistcoat expert Martin Küster shares his knowledge about a popular garment that could perhaps overtake the jacket. In keeping with this, we show you how to grade three classic waistcoat models in the patternmaking section. In addition, we look at common fit mistakes with shirt collars. On the catwalks, many designers seem to be implementing patchwork ideas in search of interpretations of the upcycling trend; with pattern and material mixes as well as layering, exciting outfits emerge. In the column »Fashion is political«, author Ronja Ebeling asks political expert Samira Ansari and designer Jeanne de Korn to tell us about Afghanistan, which fears for its craft, its culture, and its bright colours.

The enclosed pattern contains two denim jackets for men (in European sizes 44 – 58).

This issue contains 60 pages.
