On the women’s fashion pages you will find artfully draped fashion that make you want to create something on your dummy yourself. Whether small draped details or a whole evening gown: here you get the inspiration. Afterwards we will show you the most important tool for draping: the tailor’s dummy. More precisely, we will introduce the Stockman tailor’ s dummy from Paris and explain what makes it so special. This is followed by a step-by-step tutorial on draping a blouses with a special sleeve. In the pattern technique we give instructions for the pattern construction of historical children’s clothing.Starting on page 28, we provide information about the pattern maker training at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design.
On the men’s fashion pages we show you styles with the new trend detail drawstring. Whether with eyelets and cord or elastic band, the drawstring gives every garment a sporty, modern touch, is functional and decorative at the same time. Following you will find trends, styles and fashion of the online version of the Florentine men’s fashion fair Pitti Immagine Uomo. From page 9 on we will reveal the recipe for success of the Munich fashion label “Hannibal” which was founded in 2009 by Simon Hannibal Fischer and Yvonne Perner. Since then it has been asserting on the difficult market. In the pattern technique we deal with cool drawstring men’s fashion. Here you can find pattern constuctions for a trousers, an anorak and a shirt jacket. Afterwards, men’s tailor Manuela Leis shows you the processing of a coat sleeve. Finally, we introduce you to the tailor Manuele Canu from Sardinia and tell you his success story
